Global Launch Architecture

There is common consensus that 8 out of 10 new product launches fail. Most likely the share of failed product launches is even higher. Less than 3% of new consumer packaged goods exceed first-year sales of $50 million—considered the benchmark of a successful launch.

But why it is so difficult to launch new products? Companies invest millions of dollars into research and development and conduct extensive consumer research and testing. Big scale marketing campaigns are launched and their global distribution and partner network are activated.
