24 May Recruiting reimagined

The Monitor Boot Camp #1

Last Thursday Monitor Deloitte Copenhagen kicked off the very first two-day recruiting boot camp. A tough screening process reduced a field of more than 100 motivated applicants, to a group of 12 highly skilled candidates. After two intensive days, five participants were offered a contract.

The boot camp was a combination of interesting lectures, individual and group case interviews as well as a number of social activities. With this structure, the boot camp tests the participants in the most fundamental requirements to be successful in consulting.

...the Monitor unit has a unique and strong team-spirit...

I’ve wanted to work in consulting for a long time – after the boot camp, I knew that Monitor Deloitte was the right place for me. Apart from being a workplace that requires a lot from its employees and offers a steep learning curve, the Monitor unit has a unique and strong team-spirit, which is highly motivating” – Participant

Despite the competitive situation, all the participants embraced a positive and friendly attitude towards one another, which ensured an incredible atmosphere through the boot camp.

I was surprised about the atmosphere on the boot camp, it was far more positive and friendly than what I’ve tried before”. – Participant

At Monitor Deloitte our boot camp leaders Mads Borch and Caroline Møller have worked non-stop as the boot camp approached. Disciplined and structured preparation ensured a successful execution of the boot camp.

Monitor Deloitte is my first choice when prioritizing the top-tier consultancies in the market. The boot camp was planned very professionally and I certainly feel that everyone has been enlightened, regardless of a job offer” – Participant

A huge thanks to all the candidates who participated in the very first Monitor Deloitte boot camp.
